Squad Gates: privacy policy
Effective date: 14 October 2026
Squad Gates ("the game") is made by Tisa Innovations Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is handled when you play the game on Android.
The short version
- The game has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not collect, store or sell any personal information ourselves.
- Your progress is saved only on your own device.
- The game shows video ads when you choose to watch one. The ads are provided by Google AdMob, and Google's ad software collects some information from your device to do that. The details are below.
What the game saves on your device
Your credits, upgrades, powers, best score and settings are stored on your device so that they are there next time you play. This information never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Uninstalling the game (or clearing its data) deletes it. If you have turned on your phone's own backup, Android may include it in that backup.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and is paid for by advertising. A video ad plays only when you tap a "Watch ad" button to get a reward.
Ads are served by Google AdMob, using Google's Mobile Ads software inside the game. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, that software automatically collects and sends to Google:
- your device's IP address, which can be used to estimate your general location (for example your city or country);
- identifiers of your device, including the Android advertising ID and the app set ID;
- how you interact with ads and the game around them, such as app launches, taps and video views;
- diagnostic information, such as how quickly the game starts and whether it stops responding.
This information is encrypted in transit. Google uses it under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses information from apps that use its services is explained at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We do not receive this information in a form that identifies you. We see only totals, such as how many ads were shown.
Your choices
- Consent. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another place where the law requires it, the game asks for your choice about personalised advertising before any ad is requested. You can change that choice at any time: open the game, tap Privacy on the start screen, then Ad choices.
- Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your phone).
- No ads at all. You never have to watch an ad. Every "Watch ad" button is optional.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help.
Keeping and deleting information
We hold no personal information about players, so we have nothing to delete. Information held by Google is kept and deleted under Google's policies; the links above explain how to manage it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
